Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her hair is long and blonde with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small tan clips. History: She comes from a rich northern family. Merla was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Soapmaker. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
