Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Portia was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Portia decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Simon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Simon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: Standing 5'11", this man is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. His silver hair is still thick. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Ûgakûga was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To be a Spy again; and to pay off his debts

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His beige fur has been sun bleached extensively. He has yellow eyes.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Cloud lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cloud fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Navigator. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Naill abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and seeks redemption

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has decided he is irredeemable
