Koeth was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a Tailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Agatha alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He got into the Fisher business at a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She takes great joy in being the best Fortune-teller in town.

History: Born in the north to a Fortune-teller, Gynnie learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. She became a Fortune-teller soon after.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Adventurer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
