History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Rathkran and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
