History: She was born into a rich family. After coming to the age of reason, Astaro took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Stableman, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ombul isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Layabout like his mother before him.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Left-Handed was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Left-Handed fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Hoshgrish was born the youngest of three triplets. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
