Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her white hair is cut short. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has wavy black hair. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dalaba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She carries a battered flail and tarnished pickaxe as well. Her cinnamon fur is braided into rings. Her yellow eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dagger grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears bulky white painted plate armor. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: Ulblyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His white hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Bowyer mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the south
