History: Baern was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Purban began to lead the lost caravan. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Nim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A freak accident while working with her Animal Trainer father left her crippled. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To protect her home; and to clean up the streets

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
