Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he usually wears his brown robe and has his quarterstaff always slung over his shoulder. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Duergath is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Duergath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man stands a little under 4'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sai with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson grey hat.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Alberich lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Weaver does. He wears his brown hair up. His black eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and Zephan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Zephan took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He has worked as a Weaver like his mother before him.

She carries with her a set of ceremonial daggers, each one with a ruby on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her yellow fur is matted, messy, and big. She is baby faced.
Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pelt grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: Skak was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Lorilla lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lorilla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers.
