History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
