History: He was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Ralf's homeland. Ralf decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.
