History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mayor born in the past three hundred years. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Gifted from a young age, Wrenn studied abroad. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: She tends to wear a large black jacket. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Astaro was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This tall, slender man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair, while still mostly dark red, has prominent grey streaks. His silver eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Halfling compassion; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He wears baggy brown pantaloons and a tan scarf. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his greatsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. He has shaved his head bald. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: Gifted from a young age, Merihim studied abroad. Through the years after Merihim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Merihim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, blue shirt, and tan tie. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
