History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
