History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Anakis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is a Ploughman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Nuraval and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Mialee's homeland. Mialee decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.
