History: Joan lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Griselda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Sage arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She dropped out of school before completing her studies.
