History: Born to a Mayor, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and retire the richest woman in the west

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dragonborns.

History: Pandjed was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: She is a Mayor first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
