Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

History: He was born in the south. Varis was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stylist. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nyx grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nyx. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Matilda never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Mordai was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Knight for hire.

History: She got into the Shipwright business at a young age. Thava was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Shipwright. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After a long history of fighting, Tarhun and his spouse have recently divorced.
