History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Hunter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. River is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Baker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Baker and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a Navigator, her father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Assassin for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Banker, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has achieved small success as a Scribe.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and wants to work out more often

He is baby faced.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Caeldrim's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Caeldrim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Azzakh was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Seraphina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
