History: Carrie lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Kerkad was taken on many hunting expeditions. Kerkad liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a Crown-heir soon after.

History: Azza was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
