Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Healer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rivaan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Uraim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Ploughman profession.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to prove his worth to the world
