Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed father left him crippled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miller responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
