History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Emerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Emerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Emerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he is greedy

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has worked as a Scribe like her father before her.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
