History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Hamil was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Interpreter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hamil never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Description: This woman tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on her right hand. Her hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Elama was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Elama's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Dee is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dee studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a grey vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her grey boots flare out at the collars, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her hair is black and very short. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Havilar lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Havilar was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: She wears just a black suit. She carries a battered kukri and tarnished falchion as well. She keeps her brown hair in a flapper bob. Her gold eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Verin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man stands a little under 2'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is baby faced.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vlorn embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Vlorn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
