History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mara grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Laborer responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Syllin embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born in the south. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dragonborn companion (her 'brother'). She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and expand her business

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Revenge; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Fax isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dragonborn unity. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away.
