History: Philomena was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Modean was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.
