History: Vani hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Vani was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Naill has worked very hard to control his curse. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
