History: Born to a Blacksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Sage. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Sage and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Miner; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Apothecary who has hired her part-time. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vani was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
