History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Vanuath was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Vanuath's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
