When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Gargax and his spouse have recently divorced.

When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
