Cimer decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting illithids, the young Ella began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
