History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born in the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Uadjit was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Uadjit's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
