Through the years after Ilde was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ilde's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Jezean learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She struck the Mortician job and began her own company from there.
