Description: This man is very fat, and prefers to wear grey clothing when he does not wear armor. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kildrak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Born to a Courier, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he's attracted to the pc

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is typically in his Guard uniform. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Guard. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
