History: Hillanot hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He struck the Spy job and began his own company from there.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Body Guard, but he got bored and became a Fletcher. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fletcher.
