Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born in a small desert village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Kothûg took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
