Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Nutae lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nutae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Detective kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Description: This man wears a tattered pair of loose green pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Pijjirik was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a green cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. Her blue crest is thinning but still full. Her fierce gold eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Jezean hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her dancing career. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Jezean was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Marshal business.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Gnomish compassion.

Personality: Fargrim is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is wracked by social anxiety
