Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She became a Shepherd soon after.

History: Lilith was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spice Merchant. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She tends to her Roofer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
