History: Born in the north to a Miner, Harann learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Being a Miner kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Painter. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Tiefling compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to tiefling people

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He carries a battered club and tarnished longsword as well. His long blonde hair reaches down to his waist. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Nuraval lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nuraval fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Marbas was born the youngest of three triplets. A freak accident while working with his Body Guard mother left him crippled. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman is dressed in earthy colors with a green and white handkerchief worn on her right side, and a wedding ring on her right hand. She has dyed her greying red crest a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her eyes are red and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Through the years after Sora was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Sora's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
