Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shamash fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the north to a Knight, Mindartis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
