History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
