History: The child of a Locksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Orsik was taken on many hunting expeditions. Orsik abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is a Locksmith first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Shivering lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears baggy tan pantaloons and a red scarf. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Aerdeth liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Akmen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
