History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. After a long history of fighting, Carlin and her spouse have recently divorced.
