History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Guy fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Tawar was born with her father's beautiful face. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and money/treasure

History: He was born in the west. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Laborer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Saphara's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Description: 6'2" and muscular, this western woman dresses like a well dressed Marshal does. Her chestnut hair is still thick. She is baby faced.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sorath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and balancing her hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
