History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Barendd never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Dell and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arha grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She wants revenge against giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
