History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: Raer is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. A true patriot, Raer would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
