History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Vani took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Silgre lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.
