Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Xappan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Xappan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Xappan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stableman.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Thervan was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. A freak accident while working with his Hunter mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a sailor and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Quarion was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He struck the Servant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to unite with his sister

Personality: Avelina hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Server, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Baker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
