History: Gifted from a young age, Sumnes studied abroad. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ranala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Server arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
