History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. He keeps his purple hair in a flapper bob. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Mantus is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Mantus was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
