Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Raiann is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Raiann was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
