History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marbas grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Marbas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Tethren was born the youngest of three triplets. Tethren was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Tethren decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with.
